First off, the idea came from Anthony Washington in real life. He&#8217;s a silly person and that&#8217;s his charm. He decided that 1996 was better for him than the present. So, he claimed he invented time travel. Skipping past the absurdity of that, weeks and weeks later I was looking at new green screen keying software. I was also wanting to see how my SONY HDV Z1U camera would respond to the process. Using Keylight in After Effects I was able to pull pretty decent keys with the HDV footage. After shrinking it down for DV it looks broadcast-worthy.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>So, this project really was just a test that took me a solid week to shoot and put together. It was all done very quickly.
