I live in Mississippi – a little over an hour away from New Orleans. We experienced high winds and black-outs. This song was written during these times. Our hearts go out to those affected by Hurricane Katrina. We were very fortunate.

“After the Math”
Corralled canals and spirits that bend
Broken homes and people might not mend
Levels tested through, through and through again
Dirty wall of water pouring in

Agony awaits those who wait
And day by day feels like a day too late
1 + 1 is great, but thousands saturate
Any sign that help is on the way

30 wall of water pouring in
All this dirty water staying in
Holding in the sin, and all this sufferin’
30 wall of water pouring in

Blackholes trying to communicate
The future living in the dark age
Fueling all the rage, decency gives way
But somehow we will stand great
