This project started back in early 2003. I had the initial idea of trying to de-mystify why there were so many Christian denominations, and pose this question to clergymen, "Do you think that there are so many denominations that it could become an intimidating task to seek out information?"
I actually started working actively on this project in the middle of December 2003. It would take me half a year to complete. There were many issues with scheduling. There was an issue with trying to find participants here and there. Ultimately, though, things went relatively smoothly. I was trying to edit down the interviews as I the project was being shot to save time in post.
This documentary is hopefully informative. I see it being used more as a tool than entertainment. This piece is definitely different than anything I've done previously, which was the point, and I've learned a great deal from it. There's also a production journal I started keeping in the forum. I started it about four months into it. I'd also like to thank Eric Kohn for being so generous with his time and helping lug equipment around.
I hope you enjoy it. Cheers. - N. T. Bullock
Here are the questions that were asked to the
clergymen who participated in the docu:
State your name, age, and associated church
State the basic belief system of the religious sect you
belong to that sets you apart.
What denomination were your parents?
Why did you, personally, choose your current denomination?
How long have you been a part of it?
If you could change one thing about your denomination what would it be?
Do you believe there are so many denominations to choose from that it could become an intimidating task to seek out information?
Speak on the subjects of tithing and persecution.
