holy crap lol that sickness/illness sounds absolutely horrible! something you don't even wish your worst enemy. however... i got some doctor stories too... so i had a great laugh at your story with my deepest sympathies! :) hope it continues to get better. stuff like that can really bring you down.

Thanks guys. Only time will tell. I coming off this medicine soon and that will be an indicator as to whether or not I'm on the right path. It's been a damn year.

Epishow 40 was a real twist. Here I was laughing my ass off at your story. Then about half way thru I thought "Wow! I really shouldn't be laughing at this" It was hillarious because of the way you told the story, but by the end I really felt bad. I rarely write in on your Pointless podcasts but I have thoroughly enjoyed every one of them (even #40, note: I just turned 40 this August). I hope you get better and are able to manage. Looking forward to more great stuff.

Ryan

You guys shouldn't feel bad for laughing at all. It's been an amazingly ridiculous year for me, but finding the humor in it hasn't been a challenge. It's easy fodder and I say go for it. I don't try and bum people out with what I've been going through - usually I don't mention it to people unless it's pertinent anyway.

I've definitely had to laugh at this to keep my spirits up, so laugh on and laugh hard!

When is the next episode coming out? I could use some humor in my life. :)

Sorry 'bout all that. It wasn't soon. Ant is working two jobs, and I've been super busy with IRAU. Haven't forgotten about the podcast though.

I'll blame it on Anthony because he's not here. I have to catch him in the mood to do a podcast. ;{

Maybe if we bombard Anthony's silly Facebook with begging and pleading he'll feel loved enough to come back to the mic! ;]

People have been emailing sporadically about another podcast, but unfortunately I don't see another one happening in the near future. Sorry folks!

The very unfortunate, yet very funny, story of your intestinal distress.

At least my misery ranks high!

I'm doing great so far, if you care to know. They say it usually comes back within a year and a half. I've been on an uber health kick, though. Trying to keep stress down, too. I'm kind of a workaholic.

Well on a serious note, that's good to hear. It sounds like just an awful disease. I've seen people improve with acupuncture when they are dealing with a chronic case of ulcerative colitis or Crohn's.

I've looked into acupuncture a little and chose to go with a chiropractor. Acupuncture is interesting though - more about pain relief. I have "uncomfortable" moments, but not extreme pain. When I was having my issue last year I would have tried anything. It was draining my will to live, son.

Is it really going on a year and a half since the last episode? Wow. But that's ok because that just means you have all the more stories saved up to tell in the next episode...right...Right? ;)

I had a topic for the next podcast if you guys were inclined to talk about it. I came across a video that shows all sorts of subliminal images that show up in movies (hollywood, mostly) and games. One example is how you see the colors red and black whenever someone is about to die. Another is women in red dresses. Do you notice any symbols or themes that seem to come up in movies constantly? What do you think about them?

I wanted to share the video.. is it alright to post links on the forum?

"it's been a while..." - after a little break i risked a look back here for more episodes but... looks like you guys are taking a break. however... listened from podcast 1 through to 42 again and must say it's still funny. i can relate to the apple story so much. such things are a pain. much like you i'm used to figuring out problems by myself. when some other people stand between me and resolving the issue it really drives me crazy. anyway... still enjoy the podcasts and hope you'll sit down and do some more any time soon. =)

Hey NTB, after re-listening to my favorite past episodes I have to say {and I think others here will agree} TIE ANTHONY DOWN and tell us what's been going on with you guys!!
Also have you ever given thought to starting a solo podcast, or having different co-hosts for Pointless P?
