I'm disapointed in the lack of Gears of War thread...

Quite possibly the greatest game ever to have exsisted deserves it's own thread, which is why I am making sure (and a very rare apperance, but in fairness I turn my computer on once every 4 months or so now...for reasons that you would think are completely insane)

Anyway, not only is this gaming a visual masterpiece, but it's sophisticated gameplay, attention to detail, and intriguing storyline has kept my ass parked right in front of television for about two months now. This is the first game since Tokyo Xtreme Racer Zero that has completely devoured my life to the point it's all I think about. It's to the point where all I do is go to work, play Gears of War, and sleep (optional). Probably not the best life style but you know what I'm the happiest I've been in a long time. Which is probably sad, but hey I wear a smile everyday thanks to Gears of War.

The online aspect was interesting at first, but now has been really run down mostly do in part to everyone using a sniper rifle, and lack of Assault mode (which would be really awesome in that game). Plus it seems that only kids reaching the golden years of puberity are the only people playing that game. Or perhaps the mature adults like us just remain quiet, and play the game?

All in all, one of the best games ever.

So how has everyone been? NT, you might be interested in seeing my good friends Vinnie first video/movie/feature length project I assisted him in filming back in October, when he finally finishes editting it. It's a extrmely low budget, cheesy zombie movie.

Buy me an Xbox 360, and you'll get your threads.
My friend has it, and it looks amazing yes. Haven't really had a chance to play it though.
Not to derail your thread or anything, but I am so looking forward to Halo 3. Now that looks impressive (graphically).

Gears of War has devoured my life, too. I yearn for a patch and more multiplayer levels, but the game is simply the best I've seen. Everyone talks about Halo 2 and I REALLY don't understand the pull there. I've played it once and hated so many aspects of it. It's also not a good time to say that Halo 3 LOOKS good since no one has seen any real gameplay footage that's even out of alpha stage. I'm sure it will look and play better than Halo 2, but I have a feeling I won't enjoy it as much as Gears.

Anthony and I have solved Gears on each of the 3 difficulty levels and completed all the non-ranked achievements. Co-op is awesome and online multiplay is addictive. We play a lot of Gears, folks...

My gametag is TokyoRacer. I might just hit you guys up one of these days. Do you guys play Rainbow Six, or Need for Speed: Carbon at all? I picked both of those up. I haven't had much of a chance to play them yet.

I'll add you tonight when I get on for Gears. Two new multiplayer maps and a small patch. That's right!

I played the demo for RS and it seemed alright but didn't grab me. I'm waiting for Forza to race I think.
