my film begins production soon ( again! )

after 5 long years and 6 lead actresses later, my first feature film will hopefully go into production later this summer.


many people messed me around and let me down, some just dissapeared off the radar never to speak to me again which really did my head in.

I have gone to many acting weekends to learn the art of stage combat ( sword fighting and simple stunt work ) and got so good at it I was able to teach new actors what i had learnt, anything from swords to spears to lightsabers. I found a new actress not too far away and she has genuine talent and really kicksass with a sword which is a bonus!

I wrtote a new script to accomodate a simpler easier to produce storyline that does not require any extras or mass battles, so hopefully this one will work, and pays homage to the Evil Dead trilogy, Raiders and sleepy hollow.

Good luck. 5 years is a long time to stay dedicated to making the film, especially with all the let downs. Can't wait to see it.... in 5 years time???

I don't have the script online so I can't post a link to it unfortunately, as I only have it on disk at home and printed out copy's for the cast, along with production notes and artwork etc.

I had a professional artist do production paintings based on my rough sketches of costumes and weapon designs etc, and I spent most of last year making new costumes such as leather tunics and armour, along with gun holsters and sword scabbards for the new characters

I will photograph everything for reference and use them for publicity pics etc, the teaser poster above was the first picture i took of me in the full costume, without the sword

Updates will come soon, but I haven't been on my own forum in months and it has been swarmed with spam posts so i gotta sort my boards out soon at http://tannisdigs.conforums.com
