Episode 3 Parody FEEDBACK

The song at the end was some kind of imperial march or something. I think the songs are listed here on the forums somewhere if I recall.

Anyone able to help with mirroring on the Hi-Res versions of SWE3 I just put up? I posted a previous thread here:

http://www.sequentialpictures.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=595

The mirrors I've got now will give out soon. Any help is appreciated. Thanks.

The sad and I mean sad thing about your parody is a that I enjoyed it wayyyyy more than the Ep1 and Ep 2 that Lucas dumped on us.

I especially like the jedi sketchbook and back references to it.

I have too numerous fave lines to list them all. but we quote it around the office all the time.
"Well, you are quite the pooh pooh head" Good stuff.
"You're just plain dagnasty evil, it's just a FACT." [drink from flask] Pure comedy gold.
"Way to go kenobi."

I linked you a while on http://IMAO.US and sent some traffic your way. There are people quoting you there now too.

And hey you guys are my neighbors, sort of. I'm in Alabama, down Mobile way..

Again Great work

It was quite possibly the BEST parody I have ever seen. I would honestly be hard for me to pick just one or two scenes since they are all so good. N T your brother is awsome lol he honestly makes you buy into his charater. Everyone was great and Ofcourse N T being the star rocked. I Think i have watched it 30-40 x now and I show it too all my friends who love it as well.

Claps and Snaps for you all.

The Hi-Res version I was mirroring hit an all time high on Monday. 76G transfered and that made it reach the monthly 130G I alotted for the month. WoW.

good point. however, i was implying something else related to star wars.

also, the tune for your Oooh boys track Wigga Please is really good. can you post just the tune, without the vocals?

I'm not planning on doing anything else SW related. That's not what I'm ultimately trying to do with my career. Thanks for listening to WP. I don't have any plans to release an instrumental version.

I'm lost for words at how funny this parody is, I can't stop laughing all the way through it. :D
I've seen some of your other films too and they're very funny aswell...the characters are just perfect for parodies.
Congrats on lightening my day here.

Oh, and Alf in the senate was a hilarious touch. :P

Hey, I wanted to pop in and say how much of a fan I am. It's a great movie, I had to watch it twice in a row because I was laughing too hard the first time.

Thanks again, everyone. :)

(I'm mirroring the HiRes)

My host (my friend :)) got a call a few days ago at 3AM if he is running warez or something on his server cause the usual 20mbit/s bandwidht went up to 140 mbit/s...this was a new record for him, hehe. It is up and there is no problems anyway. Thanks god that hungarian providers does not know the meaning of "monthly bandwidth cap" :) (really!)

About SW3: Lost hope - I watched it about a dozen times and i still laugh on it as the first time...i have it on my PDA, i showed to my friends and they like it too. Keep up good work :)

From a SW Fan from Mexico. Not a geek, but definetly a fan.

I've enjoyed this parody as much as that old MAD magazine Space Movies special with Sergio Aragones comic stripes and Space Balls movie. Probably tomorrow when I watch Episode 3 I will be laughing remembering some scenes of The Lost Hope.

The music editing. The expressions from everybody. "I'm your baby's daddy". Anakin-Darth Vader's Wonder Woman transformation. Anakin-Padme's kiss. The laser lightsaber broken. The Emperor's names for the Death Star.

The so-so : I don't care that much about Jar Jar so I wasn't very amused with his scenes. But I know of a bunch of people who will love it.

The buts : Sound. As a non English speaker native, few (but very few lines) were a bit difficult to undertand (I'm an English as foreign language teacher!!) so maybe posting a translation of the script would be a good idea.

And finally.... ObiWan Kenobi is *not* a drunk Jedi.

As a huge fan of Mel Brooks and MAD Style parodies I must say you did an excellent work. Congratulations :)

Mithveaen.

Thanks for the feedback. It gave me an idea: maybe someone could type up all the dialogue of the movie and send it to me. I could make any corrections and post it. Maybe someone could use it for subtitles. I'm surprised I haven't gotten more requests for this. Glitch in the Matrix had quite a few requests. Again, thanks.

I watch this video constantly on my PC... I've seen it at least a hundred times now and I have the entire script memorized.

MAKE A WHOLE MOVIE OF IT!
It's the funniest video clip, or anything for that matter, that I've ever seen!

A Lost Hope is Genius!!! How did you guys know what some of the scenes would be and that Darth would have his legs gone, etc.?

You made the fairly good Episode III even better and made it into an action/adventure/COMEDY!!!

Way to go, Bullock!

There were things I knew and things I suspected. However, this particular scene in question was just a happy coincidence. I wanted to spoof the scene where Luke finds out that Vader's his pop (cliche though it may have been to do that) and so I just wrote our scene to go down the same way. Along with Anakin's remark in ROTS about thinking Grievous would be taller, the scene where he offers to share the galaxy with Padme made me smile.

One of the things about the "Baby's Daddy" scene that I've always personally liked but that never gets really noticed or mentioned is the idea that Obi-Wan told Padme that Vader killed Anakin, the same way that he will tell that to Luke 20 years later. I think it's funny that Obi-Wan keeps lying about it because he doesn't want to take the blame for it. I don't know.... that's just amusing to me.

technichally though he isnt lying, as he says in ROTJ that it the truth "from a certain point of view",

he didnt really kill vader, as a. vader isnt dead and b. he was no longer Anakin.

I just meant that Obi-Wan felt responsible for Anakin's becoming Vader.

Man oh man, I do not even know where to begin showering you with kudos on this parody. I love it and have watched it several times. Yesterday I discovered the bloopers and I have to tell you they crack me up. The Obi-Wan guy had me in stitches. Absolutely hilarious. I quote lines from the film all the time and "dag-nasty" has become a regular in my vocabulary. Your cast was great...may favorites being Obi-Wan and the Emperor (and of course Anakin...love the voice). The whole naming the Death Star just cracks me up and the fact that the emperor has stationary. Today my big discovery was the telephone as part of Vader's garb...LOL!

Just great. I may have to go watch the bloopers again...

Great parody. Your humor is funny and the acting is pretty good. I watched The Making Of and you guys look like a fun bunch to work with. I am working towards becoming a filmmaker so this stuff really inspires me.

I didn't read this whole thread, I do not have the time right now, but I will put down my criticisms of the work and things I would have changed to make it funnier and smoother. Many people may disagree with these, that's fine.

The scene where Palpatine goes on saying "No...no...no" to Jar Jar went on too long and lost its humor quickly. Should have been shorted.

The urination scene also went on too long and should have been shortened. It would also have been funnier to show more sparks and electricity coming out of R2 as he asks for more.

Jar Jar should have gotten a more violent death I think, not too over the top, but more than just darts. I think it also would have been good to have him say some more stuff. The costume was so dumb looking, I think anything he did would be funny.

Overall it was good, I could critique it more but those were my main gripes. Mainly the editing and timing on some of the scenes.

I loved the costumes. That Jar Jar Binks costume makes me sputter everytime I see it. It just looks so awful and the person's voice sounds so ridiculous. I honestly don't understand why Lucas didn't just use that costume instead of the million dollar CG backing Jar Jar. It would have made the prequels more sufferable (by adding random, pointless humor). I mean, the prequels were a waste of my time and money anyways, at least make me laugh.

At least ROTS had the "NOOO!!" scene and a host of other inane drivel to laugh at.

Thanks guys!
Slappy
