I'm waiting!

Oh crap, I forgot to actually post this till now. Nevermind.

Sorry...my bad.

Sorry? Whats to be sorry about. What I wrote was supposed to be humorous in a satirical way.

I just didn't know if there was enough interest to start a thread on Dune stuff or not. I guess I'm just a Dunnie (like a Trekkie).
Whatever you do, don't read this!

Stop reading this!

STOP!!
That's it, I'm not writing another thing!

Glad to hear that...I've been some other forums and people can be downright nasty, so it's hard to make out "your ton-al-it-y", as the OOOH BOYZ might put it. ;)

That said, there are a bunch of real decent people here, so I should not have assumed the worst.

very good re-release

Postby Kismette » May 17th, 2007, 10:47 pm

Gee, anyone miss me? I never got a response to my comments in the podcasts before the whole darkside's monologues took over.
Oh well, maybe I wasn't missed then by all these men.

Anyway, I listened to the Dune redub and laughed my butt off. I had gotten maybe 5 seconds into it before I was yelling for my husband to come listen to it with me. He is an avid fan of the Dune books, read them all, we have them all. I swear he reads the first one over and over like during dinner or in the bathtub; which I always wonder why and what is the point when you already know it by heart.
The hand in the box is our favorite part of the stupid movie. We use it as one of our household movie quotes that get bantered about. "Put your hand in the box" is as common to us now as "Well I've been working on this for quite some time....a booby". My oldest son loves to spout out movie quotes from your star wars 3 parody. Its as entertaining to watch him as it is to watch your wonderful little movie.

Those voices you did in Dune are downright hilarious. My favorite part is when the reverand mother does those little sighs. My husband loves the ass and dirt parts. He thinks the rev. mother parts are like holy grail eric idle and baron is lao pan from Big trouble in little china.
And the duke part reminds me of Rick Moranis.
Purely great voices!!

I voted and gave it a 10 because I really feel it is a 10. We watched it again just yesterday and cracked up all over again.

Please don't take this as a personal attack but that really wasnt that great. Are you going to do a film with an actual story rather than these satirical redubs?

Renegade, dude-man, check out MOST of the rest of the site. We did 2 redubs for fun - on a lark - and I'm not pushing them as magical or enchanting. If you didn't like it, so be it. We laughed quite hard making them and I posted 'em. That's all.

Yeah NT, this has been a long time coming, but you are pretty untalented and nothing on this site is even remotely humorous. Are you planning on making something that is funny sometime.... ever....?

Hey I didnt mean that! I think NT is very talented! Its gonna take me ages to get the type of rep that NT has. I was only asking whether he planned on expanding his repetoire.

I loved Dune Re-dub I got my coworker in my office to see it. We loved it and would quote it to each other along with other lines from the other ones like "I Swear!!!" Anyway it was Briliant and I had never seen Dune and I thought the redub was hilarious. I went out and saw the original and I like the Redub voices alot better. I also went and downloaded the Dune Miniseries that was on Scifi channel back in 2000, it was horible. I Downloaded the Children of Dune and ive not finished it yet but so far its much better then the Dune miniseries. I probably wouldnt have watch any of thease if it weren't for this video. Awesome job.

I've been using this as a lure to get more folks to Sequential, and I still say it's one of the best sneaks of a blue balls joke ever.
