Pointless PODCAST

Postby ntbullock » March 28th, 2007, 2:12 pm

Sir Anthony Washington and I have started a podcast. It's my first dealings with the technical aspects of this, but I'm making some headway:

For those of you without iTunes (...and may I ask "why?") you can also get the goodies here --

I've started trying to incorporate it into the site. Let me know if anyone has any problems. This is new to me.

Very cool stuff. I listen to this at work when I'm really bored and need some good laughs. Some of your insights are quite amusing.

I don't do iTunes so the blogger page works just fine for me. Can you keep track of how many people have listened to your podcast?

Keep up the pointless podcasting, you never know what ideas may come from it. The 20min time limit is a good idea.
Whatever you do, don't read this!

Stop reading this!

STOP!!
That's it, I'm not writing another thing!

I am enjoying your podcasts. Is it always going to be you and Sir Anthony every time? Will you include 'special guests' (friends and neighbors) sometimes and maybe even solo casting?
Shame that you have to turn the air conditioning off when you do it.
Is there much post production to do when you do the podcast or is it press stop and send it out?
I didn't say it was your FAULT I said I was going to BLAME YOU

There may be "guests" in the future if it happens, and I'll probably never do one by myself. I've got my Pointless Video Blog for that mess. There isn't much post work done. I don't really edit them or add anything like music at this point. I just print out a mastered version and post it. Thanks for listening. We'll probably do another real soon. We sit around and ramble anyway, but now we're just recording our bullshit. ;]

I don't think anyone would pay to hear us ramble. We aren't THAT funny! ;]

Hell, Kevin Smith has a "Smodcast" for free. My friend Jared let me listen to it and mentioned something about me and Ant doing one. That was the impetus.

you guys should answer a question from one of your listeners on each pod cast. that would be pretty fun to hear that would turn out.

I've thought about that and I just haven't incorporated it into the podcast page - a suggestion topic or question to ramble about. Thanks for reminding me. I'll do it today because we're going to do another one in the next couple days.

edit: suggestion email done

i just listened to the last one about the two stories and i was crying. holy shit it was funny. due to having my own problem like that i now keep a trach can very close to the toilet. cant wait for the next one.

(edit) topic for you. tv shows that have gone for too long or should have ended after thier last season.

I don't remember there being a trashcan near the toilet, and I had already started back to the toilet when I erupted. It all happened so quickly. Ug.

hopefully next time something like that happens you'll take a quick scan of the room and see what opitions you have. just in case. i think the fact you both went into such detail about what happened in the store and the bathroom is what drove it over the edge from funny to almost piss your pants from laughing and crying so much. has jeffery been seen since?

Wow i havent laughed so much in my life(well maybe i am exaggerating but still). Ok i listen to these during 2nd period in school(the teacher doesnt really care) and i start cracking my ass off(Yes this is a combination of cracking up and laughing my ass off) and the teacher just stares and so does everyone else. I feel like a complete retard(no not like Jeffrey). But to get to my point very good job and keep up the pointless topics.

Forgot to mention Kessler that I'd prefer suggestions to the "show" come through email on the podcast page and not the forum. I'll add yours to a list, though. Thanks.

Glad yer diggin' it, Taylor. I wish I could've done that in school! ;]
